The museum houses important collections that belonged to the self-taught mountaineer Bernardo Razquin. The archaeological collection shows Palaeolithic and Neolithic pieces, regional as well as local: a burial and Huarpe ceramics, arrow tips from the Guanacache culture, and a rock collection from Ischigualasto. There are also devices and historic pieces of art of ecclesiastical, civil and military nature. Besides, outstanding Palaeontology, geology and zoology samples can be seen, among which we find a shark’s jaw.
