The museum was first opened on December 9, 1990 at the initiative of one who bears his name. Years later it was moved to the current location, opening its doors again on May 25, 1993. The objective of it is to recover, preserve and enrich the common assets from the community of Rivadavia District. It shows religious objects, old clothes, hats, a gallery of the mayors and harvest queens, documents, photographs from the XIX and XX centuries, old work machinery and several elements the neighbours have donated.
