* Provincial Museum of Fine Arts Emiliano Guiñazú “Fader House”
Keeps landscapes and paintings of themes that reflect the local habits from the collection of Fernando Fader, in addition, it offers permanent exhibitions of paintings, prints, sculptures, photographs, among others.
* Regional and American Museum
It was found in an old villa that belonged to the traditional Furlotti family. Built in 1908 retains its original structure and characteristics. It keeps important pieces that reflect the regional culture and the history of the department.
There is also an archaeology area that shows our Aboriginal past. There are products found in various excavations undertaken by the museum in collaboration with others in the province.
There should be highlighted the valuable collection that makes up the America sector. There are the exhibitions of reproductions in original size of friezes, steles and sculptures belonging to the Olmec, Maya and Aztecs cultures of the Mesoamerican region.
* Historical, Cultural and Religious Complex “Virgen de la Carrodilla”
Along with the Church of the Virgin of Carrodilla, a national monument dedicated to the patroness of the Vineyards, at its museum religious images of a high historical and cultural value are exhibited. These carvings made by the Huarpes Indians dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, painted canvas original from Cuzco from 1750 and books of the seventeenth century, among other notable pieces.
In 1995, it was completed the first stage of valuation of this place, with the inauguration of a mural painted by the Mendocinean artist Hugo Leytes. The piece of art shows the story of the construction of the chapel and the devotion that workers of the vineyard dedicated to his patroness, the Virgin of Carrodilla whose primitive image lies on the altar of the church.
