• Honourable Deliberating Council and Art Room “Fidel de Lucia”. It has an octagonal design and retains its original red colour and carpentry. It can be seen from the esplanade of access; moreover it houses the “Fidel de Lucia” Art Room. Other attractions of the place are the “Luis Menotti Pescarmona” green amphitheatre and the adjacent corners. There should be highlighted the beautiful Post Office and Godoy Cruz pharmacy façades. • Cine Teatro Plaza. It is one of the Godoy Cruz benchmarks and cultural icon for its excellence. It was opened in 1946 and has since exhibited, years after year, the most successful films. It has the capacity to receive a thousand spectators and has a complete technical team. Great artists of local and national importance have appeared on its stage. In addition to film and theatre, the building is an important cultural centre dedicated to performances, lectures, exhibitions and prominent events such as the “Encuentro Provincial de Danza”, “Vení a cantar”, “Cine en Vacaciones de Inverno”, “Mendoza International Drum fest” and others.
