The Music and Wine on the Heights cycle is performed since several years in the City of Mendoza, more specifically on the seventh floor of the Municipality of Mendoza, which houses the Mirador Terrace Garden. The event already has eight editions and extends through the months of January, February and March, every Thursday night. Combines the best of music and wine from Mendoza.
The initiative has been awarded gold medal at the awards Best of Mendoza’s Wine Tourism, and brings together many mendocinos and tourists who want to enjoy wine and music, counting on many occasions with 350 attendees. Admission is free and each day a specific musical genre is played by mendocinos artists, and conjugated to a variety of different wine which are highlighted, a different one every thursday.
Space is limited, so it is recommended to attend at least 30 minutes before the start of the cycle. Along with the entrance a voucher that allows to taste a wine is given. The cycle has the support of the Mendoza Wine Fundation, which helps coordinate all participating wineries bringing their wines to be enjoyed by all present. The Terrace Mirador is presented as the ideal venue for its beautiful panoramic view.
The terrace has passed a variety of musicians, including the Municipal Orchestra as well as artists of folklore, boleros, classical music, tango, jazz and many other styles.
