The Provincial and Federal ID card (no registration Mercosur) and the Civic or Enrollment books are not valid for travel internationally, starting today, March 16, 2012.
According to the amendment of Annex agreement on Travel Documents and Associated States of Mercosur, the Ministry of Interior and the National Directorate of Migration reported that as of March 16, 2012 will expire the validity of some documents identificatory to travel abroad.
The modification of payroll, aims to ensure the safety of those who travel documents and have enabled reliable identification and leave the country.

They may not be used as travel documents:
Identity Card issued by the Federal Police who lacks the Mercosur registration or expiration date.
Draft registration.
Civic Book.
Bonds issued by the provincial governments.
Enabled by Argentina to travel documents by the countries of the region:
National Identity.
Passport.
Mercosur Identity Card issued by the Federal Police (use valid until their respective maturity).
The costs of the proceedings to obtain an ID card, passport and expres passport are:
