This architectural complex located in the department of San Martin, was founded in 1852 by a Franciscan priest Fray Antonio Aragon, in Alto de la Esperanza country, that at that time belonged to Norberto Morán, to provide spiritually assist to the early settlers and local people. The same has a renaissance and llorentine style and consists of an oratory or chapel closed, an open chapel, a family home and a bell tower built in 1845. It highlights its build quality and aesthetics, with a path of strict proportions. The chapel has a “T” form with the dome on an octagonal drum segments, placed against the front wall. Here are exhibited different religious and period objects and for its historical significance was declared a National Historic Landmark.
