San Rafael is a place renowned for offering adventure tourism related activities. It offers very interesting options such as paragliding in the Valle Grande. Among these activities, there are two major Air Park, dedicated to various activities related to height.
Canopy Lake
This is an aerial park, the first canopy tour of South America, which is built entirely on the waters of Lake located in the reservoir Valle Grande, in the Canyon of Atuel, Valle Grande. The place is located on Route 173, km 2.10. It provides the ability to “fly” on the water, surrounded by an environment of great beauty. The tours consist of cables, located at different heights, and in 7 different branches.
Safety briefings are offered to explain how to slide on the cables and positions of displacement connection forms ferrata and braking. A top speed of 25 km per hour on the wires is achieved, and is taking up as you progress through the course. As a bonus, one of the circuits offered make rappel. A bolder option for visitors who like heights and strong emotions.
Air Forest Euca
The Euca Air Forest is a park where the activity is carried out aerial assault. It was the only one of its kind in the whole country, until early 2015 when another opened in Tigre, Buenos Aires. The park operates in the treetops of Valle Grande, in the Canyon of Atuel. It is located just 25 km from the city of San Rafael, and has a circuit or wood rope bridges, trapezes and zip lines in height.
Using harness, helmet, pulley, carabiners and gloves, visitors can tour the different levels of the forest. There are four levels: Air level, corresponding to the four elements Water Level Level Level Earth and Fire, and exponentially increase the height, turn increasing complexity. All activity of the park is moderated by a group of specially trained guides.
