This reservation is located in the department of Malargüe and has unique characteristics of geological and volcanic order. The high concentration of volcanic cones allows us to make an interpretation of the evolution of the planet.
In this reservation there is a project called “the Sustainable Use of wild guanacos,” being implemented. It aims to generate an experience that will be used to assess the wildlife behaviour the as a tool for the management of the population of camel like animals in the province. This will generate the legal and technical background to establish regulatory frameworks that could be used to regulate similar experiences in the future in the province of Mendoza. For that reason, this is a pilot experience and not a commercial exploitation.
