Mendoza has a championship that consists of several dates. It is the so-called Toyota Yacopini Mountain Bike Cup, a company that organizes competitive and non-competitive events in the province in order to enjoy this activity and the mountain.
The first edition of this championship was in 2011 with a single date, however over the years the event was growing in quantity and quality and today has up to 5 annual dates that develop throughout the entire Province.
Rivadavia Bike Fest is one of the dates that make up the competition. It is a circuit of 35 km for the promotional categories and 70km for the rest of the categories. The same begins in the Municipal Lake of Rivadavia, department located 64 km from the capital. It is a rural circuit comprised geographically between the Costa Canal to the North and the Canal Los Andes SUR, between both limits is the bed of the Tunuyán River, numerous Farms and Wineries, covering part of the Districts of La Libertad and La Reducción. The arrival is at the same point of departure, which has been remodeled and has all the amenities for those who visit it and one step away from the Municipal Sports Center where services of restaurants, showers and other services are provided to ensure the total enjoyment of the event. The configuration of the circuit has been having variants although it has always been turned counter-clockwise. The organizers every year work fervently to add new sections of trails, ditches and bands in each edition to gradually get out of the alleys typical of rural bike, achieving more dynamic and technical routes but within reach of all bikers who wish to participate . In addition, the circuit has a very precise system of marking composed of notorious signals such as lime arrows on the side, horizontally pulling strips to reinforce the signage in places that may cause confusion.
