Right across from the Municipal Aquarium is the Serpent Anaconda Mendoza Center. It is located in Ituzaingó to 1420, and works seven days a week, from 9 to 19 hours. Specimens of snakes has the most diverse places in the world, of different sizes and colors.
Among the types of snakes that can be found there live lizards and snakes as anacondas, rattlesnakes, boas, vipers, lizards, gila monster, false coral, pythons and others. All snakes are located in cabinets arranged along a tunnel, so that distribution can be observed closely. In each case there are information sheets, among other things, provide information on the specimens, extracting venom, photos of injuries and advice in case of bite.
The snake began to form in 1960 on the initiative of José Gassull veterinarian, and so far about 500 copies together 40 varieties and species, both poisonous and non-poisonous. They come from all over the world, some of Asia, Africa, and other native as vipers and rattlesnakes. In the place also informative and preventive lectures, conducted by snake guides are offered.
Together with the municipal aquarium, and because of the closeness between the two complexes, the snake is a very attractive option for the boys, because the chance to meet exotic animals in a safe and controlled environment, surprised by their shapes and colors and learn about both curious things helpful. The entrance fee is 15 pesos for children and 25 for adults.
