Urban Vendimia is a festival that takes place during the month of April in the city of Mendoza. It is a multidisciplinary event that combines dancers, urban sports, food, beverages, tattoo artists and visual artists, plus live bands. The festival is a vintage designed especially for young people and tribes and urban subcultures.
It is performed in an outdoor setting, where different musical genres such as indie, punk rock, hip hop, cumbia, alt-rock and more are combined. A circuit is also installed in the style of fair dedicated to urban expressions in all its different forms: live performing tattoos, piercings stands, urban hairdresser, braids and dreadlocks, and independent design.
The culinary offerings include pizzas, burgers, microbrews and healthy food with veggie burgers, smoothies and juices. As for dance and body language, the event brings groups of parkour jumping obstacle courses arranged for that purpose and breakdance and hip hop, among other things. Circuits and ramps for fans of skateboarding and longboarding are also located.
Also advice on tattoos, care and relevant recommendations, and live murals local muralists groups are offered. Photography, thematic videos and screen prints are also available. It is ideal for young people interested in new trends, genres and urban sports proposal. The competition is increasing every year, having to find more space to concentrate all attendees.
