In 1941 Augusto Antonini managed to buy his first hundred hectares in San Martin in the eastern area of Mendoza. As time went by and having the support of his son Hebert the started the growing of white, red and rosé grape varieties.
Viña Santa María cellar is located in the area of the Central Valley in San Martin Department. It has a production and storing capacity of 7,5 million liters.
The cellar was built after the traditional Mendocino style with high walls and yellow pine and cane roofs providing a fresh and natural atmosphere for the wines.
The winery counts on a cellar where its Reserve varietals age during 9 months in French oak barrels. There, the elaboration process of the wines and the effort of those who are part of the company are completed.
The winery offers: traditional breakfast and lunch, tasting in cellar, organization of events and personalized visits, Bonarda harvest.
