The wine used in religious celebrations across the country is produced by two specialized wineries, whose fame reached the Vatican. Over a century ago in Mass Mendoza wine whose fame reached the Vatican himself occurs. It is developed by the Cabrini and Don Bosco, the latter belonging to the Salesian Congregation wineries. While the Cabrini family produces several lines of wines and sparkling wines, began production of sacramental wine for an ancestor who was a Salesian priest. This wine, which is 16 percent alcohol, is made differently in each winery. In Don Bosco white grapes of the Torrontés and Moscatel varieties of Alexandria (being a sweet wine, it is also used to make desserts) are used, while the Cabrini blocks cut from red grapes: Malbec, Bonarda, Tempranillo and Sangiovese, which gives it a reddish color, according to the Los Andes entered. Cabrini Hugo, one of the owners of the winery, said in an interview with the Los Andes that his pride was when the wine arrived at the Vatican, brought as a gift for Pope John Paul II by a delegation of Argentine priests. Pope liked it so much I used it for the celebration of the Mass of the Jubilee.
