Vino el Cine is a series of films is done by the Wine Roads in Argentina. Projections have to do with the classic film and are made in different vineyards and wineries, in this case of Mendoza. Cordoba and Salta provinces also joined in the last editions. The goal is to travel the roads of wine and meet wineries open to the public through an artistic and interesting approach.
The idea also is to generate alternatives during times of low season in the wine tourism calendar. It is conducted annually by Bodegas de Argentina (PEU Wine Tourism for COVIAR) and Audiovisual Megacine. The purpose of the visits is social, and programming consists of national and foreign films projected outdoors on inflatable screens (airscreens) of German origin, with the beautiful vineyards as a backdrop.
The event is part of the calendar Argentina Tierra de Vinos and the International Wine Tourism Day, promoted by the European Network of Wine Cities. Some of the participants in previous years have been Nieto Senetiner wineries, Catena Zapata, Renacer, Norton, Finca Agostino, Los Casks, Chandon, Dante Robino, Navarro Correas and other wine-related establishments.
As this is an evening event for better visibility on the screens, it starts a little before the screening when there is still daylight so that attendees can tour the wineries. The activities are part of the “Wine in Moderation” program, which promotes responsible consumption of wine and tries to convey the idea of enjoyment to consciousness. The exchange of tickets is done in stages and you can get more information by accessing the website or through the fanpage.
