The Wine Day takes place in Mendoza since 2014 and is organized by Cantina Wine Club, a leading wine club offering an exclusive selections of this national drink. It also has the support of the advertising agency PLYV, and offers tourists the chance to enjoy a great day with sparkling wines, the best food, bands and live DJ-s.
The venue of the meeting have varied in different editions being Divina Marga (Lulunta, Lujan de Cuyo) and La Casona 1891 El Torreon (Luzuriaga, Maipú), the following year. The event lasts a whole day from morning till evening, and there the wineries offer wine lovers the opportunity to taste many varieties to present the latest trends and market developments.
Gastronomy and music are two very important axes of the event, plus wine. You can also find chefs with interesting gastronomic proposals and at an affordable price. Music also takes place making with talented local artists as Vinderman, Agustina Bécares, German and Jack Ficcardi Fer. Games for children are also installed so that the little ones can have a fun space.
Among the nearly 60 participating wineries are: Kaiken, Catena Zapata, Vistalba, Lagarde, Pulenta Estate, Flichman, Accuro Wines, Norton, Mendoza Vineyards, Trivento, Finca El Origen, Budeguer and Los Haroldos. The proceeds are to benefit the organization Fundavita. Tickets are only anticipated and can be purchased at Fundavita (Primitivo de la Reta 687 Esq.
